How does Burner Buddy work?
Burner Buddy is made from specially formulated heat-resistant glass designed to handle the temperatures and thermal changes produced by glass cooktops.
Simply place the Burner Buddy panel on top of your existing glass cooktop and cook as you normally would. The panel acts as a protective barrier that helps prevent scratches, stains, and everyday wear from damaging the original cooktop surface.
How do I install Burner Buddy?
Installation is simple.
- Remove Burner Buddy from the packaging.
- Place the panel directly on top of your glass cooktop.
- Start cooking as you normally would.
There are no tools, adhesives, or modifications required.
Will Burner Buddy affect how my stove cooks?
Burner Buddy is designed to work with your stove during normal cooking. Most customers notice little to no difference in their cooking experience, aside from the peace of mind that their cooktop is protected.
Can I use my existing pots and pans?
Yes. You can continue using the cookware you already own.
Burner Buddy works with common cookware including:
• Stainless steel

• Non-stick cookware
• Cast iron
Will I still be able to see the burners?
Yes. Burner Buddy is made from semi-transparent glass, allowing you to see the red glow from electric heating elements through the panel.
If cooking on a low heat setting, you may briefly turn the burner on high to identify the burner location before adjusting to your desired temperature.
Does Burner Buddy work with induction cooktops?
Burner Buddy may not be ideal for induction cooktops.
Because the panel is semi-transparent black glass, it can obscure the burner location markings typically printed on induction cooktops. Since induction burners do not glow like traditional electric burners, this may make it more difficult to position cookware precisely.
For traditional electric smooth-top cooktops, this is not an issue because the heating elements glow and remain visible through the panel.
Will the entire surface get hot?
Burner Buddy heats in a similar way to a standard smooth electric cooktop.
Only the areas above active burners will heat directly. Some heat may radiate outward from the burner area during cooking, which is normal for glass cooktops.
Can I cook food directly on Burner Buddy?
No. Burner Buddy is designed to protect your cooktop while cooking with pots and pans. It is not intended for cooking food directly on the glass surface.
How do I clean Burner Buddy?
Cleaning is simple.
Use the same cleaning products you would normally use for your glass cooktop. Standard glass cooktop cleaners, soapy water, a razor blade, and non-abrasive cloths work best. Grab our cleaning kit here.

What is the return policy?
Every Burner Buddy includes a 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
If you are not completely satisfied within 45 days of purchase, you may return the product for a full refund, excluding any expedited shipping fees.
To qualify for a refund, the product must be returned in the original packaging, including the foam inserts and cardboard box.

Do not remove the glass from the packaging. Reseal the box and our team will provide a return shipping label for the damaged item so a replacement can be sent.
Exchanges
What if I need to exchange my order for a different size?
In the event the wrong size is ordered and an exchange is requested, outbound
shipping of the exchange unit will be collected. Return shipping is covered for
both the original and exchange unit in the event of a return.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free standard shipping within the continental United States. Shipping rates for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international destinations are calculated at checkout based on location and package weight.
