I bought the Burner Buddy after having a boil-over on my brand-new glass-top stove and realizing just how easily these cooktops can get marked up. I wanted something that would actually protect the stove **while I’m cooking**, and this has been exactly what I was looking for.
It sits right on top of the cooktop and I can cook normally while it protects the original glass underneath. Cleanup is so much easier, and I’m not stressing every time something spills or a pan moves across the stove.
If you have a glass-top stove and want to keep it looking new, I definitely recommend the Burner Buddy. I wish I had bought it from day one!

Today while my wife was putting away dishes, she dropped a coffee cup onto our Bosch glass cooktop stove. Thankfully, we had a Burner Buddy. It completely destroyed our Burner Buddy. But not a scratch on the stove. While unfortunate that i have to buy another Burner Buddy, its far better and cheaper than repairing or replacing our stove. Will be doing that very soon. Hopefully before the wife drops another cup.

Looks great with the rounded corners! Had to cut about a 1/16” off the flat side of each one to fit perfectly for us…but feel these look much nicer than the straight strip would.
